On the Clock: An elemental enforcers story

'On the Clock' is an original animated short film made by myself, as part of my senior thesis project studing animation at the Kansas City Art Institute. With several months of independent production, I oversaw and produced work along each step of the pipeline. The film is a character focused action-comedy, with an emphasis on character expression and dynamic building between the stars of this show:

In a world where superheroes and super powers are real, everybody doesn't live the super lives many might think. A team of contract workers with lame powers that makes no one bat an eye at them work to take care of jobs deemed "not important enough" for the big named heroes.
Two of these contract workers are assigned on a mission together: investigate an underground night club in search of a dangerous crime boss before it's too late! However, the bustling location and contrasting personalities make the mission seem near impossible. Can the two put aside their differences and learn to work together for a change?
The Incredible Depth of the Project
The Film's reception has been quite positive, being accepted into film festivals and earning honors for the work!
'On the Clock' and this world I have developed mean very much to me. The characters in this world have grown up with me over the years since I first created them, and being able to show them off to others has been a dream come true.
